Sign up NOW for your mid-year meeting!

I'm excited to see each of you this evening, but I wanted to go ahead and send this reminder before the meeting: please sign up NOW for your mid-year meeting with the leadership team! We would like to take some time with each of you to reflect on how the year is going with your group and what we can do differently to better support you. Mike has set up an online scheduler, so just click on the "book now" button on the left side of this page and sign up for your time! (If you're receiving this message in your email via your blog subscription, then you'll need to go directly to the blog - discipleshipministries.blogspot.com - to find that button.) All meetings will take place on the 3rd floor, and - since the location may change from hour to hour or day to day - we'll just meet you in the Sunday school office (which is the last room on your right before the second set of elevators).

Please don't forget that we have leadership training this Sunday, December 7th at 5:30pm. We will be studying Micah 5:2 and will be having our leader Christmas social. Please plan to attend unless providentially hindered. If you cant make it please email me at mike@inquest.org.

As you are thinking about plans for your Christmas gatherings to be held on Wednesday the 17th, here are a few things to keep in mind:



1. Make sure that if you plan to be any place but at the regular host home at the regular time that you get approval first (919-413-7218) This is very important!

2. Plan to do the 10 minute Micah 5:2 devotional that you will be taught at training this coming Sunday.

3. Consult the host home families and get their input on what is possible for you to do.

4. Once a plan is in place and has been approved(if it requires different times or locations), then be sure that all parents are informed at least a week ahead of schedule.

5. Enjoy the evening. Let it be a profitable time for getting to know some of the students in your group that you haven't made a real connection with yet.

Teaching Notes For 12/03/08

Hey Guys,

Here are the teaching notes for 12/03/08. I apologize for the tardiness. I was in a turkey coma. :-) Don't forget Training this Sunday at 5:30pm on the 3rd floor.

Also don't forget to schedule your mid-year check-up meetings. There is a button link on the blog where you and your co-leaders can do this. The dates are December 21st,and January 4th, 11th, and 15th.
